Voices of Change is a youth-led, community-focused initiative advancing environmental conservation, climate resilience, storytelling, research, public dialogue, and community wellbeing. Our work connects environmental health with social wellbeing and creates opportunities for communities to participate in shaping their future.

Our Flagship Project
Manguo Wetlands Climate Resilience Project
Manguo Wetland is a seasonal freshwater ecosystem near Limuru, Kenya. It supports biodiversity, groundwater recharge, flood regulation, environmental education, and community memory. Voices of Change works with residents and young people to raise awareness, support restoration, document ecological conditions, and advocate for long-term protection.

Voices of Change received second place in the 2025 Circular Plastics Challenge, organized by Net Impact. The submission proposed an AI-enabled waste management solution linked to the Manguo Wetland conservation project.
